Allied Universal has security jobs and are seeking to fill the position of a **Security Flex Officer** .

The **Security Flex Officer** is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. A **Security Flex Officer** acts as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions and detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may be a threat to the property, clients, guests or employees at the site.

Pay: $13.00 Per Hour

Shifts Available: 7:00 AM -3:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM and or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Key Responsibilities:

+ **Access control:** Monitoring and controlling entry points to Amazon offices and facilities, checking employee badges, and managing visitor access.

+ **Surveillance:** Operating security cameras and monitoring systems to detect anysuspicious activities or security breaches.

+ **Patrolling:** Conducting regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety of employeesand property.

+ **Emergency response:** Being prepared to respond to various emergencies, such as fires,medical situations, or security threats.

+ **Reporting:** Documenting incidents, maintaining logs, and reporting any securityconcerns to management.

+ **Enforcing policies:** Ensuring compliance with company security policies andprocedures.

+ **Screening:** Conducting security screenings of personnel and packages entering thefacilities.

+ **Liaison with law enforcement:** Cooperating with local law enforcement agencies whennecessary.

+ **Technology management:** Operating and monitoring electronic security systems.Customer service: Providing assistance and information to employees and visitors in aprofessional manner.

+ **Asset protection:** Safeguarding company assets, including intellectual property andphysical equipment.

+ **Training and drills:** Participating in regular security training and emergency drills.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age to qualify.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Must have 1 years of prior Security Experience

+ Must be comfortable using computers or tablet devices

+ Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time

+ Excellent Customer Service
