    Linux System Administrator

     

    Location : Chicago IL

    We are seeking a strong Linux Admin for the below skills - please feel free to apply

    + 8+ years of Experience in Linux System Administrator with experience in CentOS and Ubuntu with IaC using Salt Stack or similar technologies

    + CentOS/Ubuntu experience

    + Technical system-wide troubleshooting focused on Linux & infrastructure

    + Scripting (bash, perl, and/or python)

    + Automation technologies (SaltStack, Chef, Ansible)

    + DevOps processes & tools (Jenkins, BitBucket, Consul)

    + DataDog & general systems monitoring

    + VMWare & vSan

    + Azure experience

    Salary and Other Compensation:

    Applications will be accepted until 5/30/2025

     

    The Salary for this position will be 79,000 to 100,000 yearly depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

     

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
