    Sr. Java Full Stack Engineer – Onsite

     

    We are looking for an experienced and talented **Sr. Java Full Stack Engineer** to join our innovative team. With at least **8+ years of experience** , you will bring your deep expertise in modern web and server-side technologies, cloud computing, and database management to craft scalable and high-performing solutions. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and maintaining cutting-edge applications using tools like Angular, TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, and AWS services. Your technical proficiency in front-end frameworks, REST API design, database architecture, and cloud services will be essential for delivering secure and seamless application functionality.     Job Location:** **Portsmouth - NH** or **Plano Texas (Onsite)

     

    Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

    Key Technical Skills:

    FRONT END

    Must have: Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, JS

    SERVER

    Must have: Java, Spring Boot or NodeJS/Typescript, strong understanding of the applicable package managers (maven & npm), REST API development

    DATABASE

    Must have: MySQL (Generally AWS RDS)

     

    Good to have: AWS Aurora, Mongo Atlas

    CLOUD / CLOUD SERVICES

    Must have: AWS CDK/Lambda/S3

     

    Working knowledge of the AWS ecosystem is desirable as well.

    CI/CD

    Working knowledge of GitHub and Bamboo is desirable. Knowledge of Liberty’s cloudforge ecosystem is a bonus.

    SECURITY

    Working knowledge of authentication and authorization frameworks like OAuth (Ping & Entra ID) and Auth0 is desirable

    The annual salary for this position is between $87- 114k depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

     

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
