Description

We are on the lookout for a proficient Application Development Project Manager/Lead to become part of our team in Central, New Jersey. The selected candidate will be at the forefront of the entire application development lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance. This role also involves a strong emphasis on team leadership and cross-functional collaboration to ensure efficient project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Guiding and leading development, along with support teams, facilitating the successful completion of projects.

• Collaborating with multiple teams to understand requirements, devise technical solutions and address any arising issues in a timely manner.

• Overseeing and managing the activities related to production support, guaranteeing swift resolution of incidents and problems.

• Leading and managing the complete application development process, encompassing design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

• Developing efficient and scalable applications using a variety of technologies such as Java, .NET, API, Web Services, and SQL.

• Upholding the highest coding standards, optimizing performance and ensuring application security.

• Providing training and support to team members, in addition to maintaining comprehensive documentation.

• Leveraging your expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, and implementing best practices for change management.

• Utilizing understanding of system architecture and software design principles to drive application development.

• Applying knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and using DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements • Proficiency in Cloud Technologies is required to ensure smooth operation and integration of applications on cloud-based platforms.

• Familiarity with Content Management System (CMS) is needed for the effective management of digital content.

• Contract Management skills are crucial for handling agreements with clients, vendors, partners or employees.

• Proficiency in Microsoft tools and software is necessary for day-to-day tasks and project management.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure is essential for building, deploying, and managing applications and services.

• Expertise in Agile Scrum methodology is required for managing and implementing project strategies.

• Auditing skills are necessary for regular review and assessment of the project's performance and efficiency.

• The ability to implement Best Practices in application development to ensure high-quality output.

• Change Management skills are crucial to effectively manage any alterations in the project scope.
