Description

We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team. This contract position will focus on providing reliable IT support for network, PC, and server operations, ensuring the seamless functionality of systems crucial to daily operations. The role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot issues, document processes, and contribute to maintaining a stable IT environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver day-to-day technical support for network infrastructure and desktop systems.

• Administer basic server-related tasks, including resetting passwords, restarting servers, and refreshing databases.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to JobBOSS systems and ensure their optimal performance.

• Retrieve and manipulate data from JobBOSS tables as required to support operational needs.

• Develop and maintain documentation for processes to ensure consistent knowledge sharing and operational continuity.

• Collaborate with onsite staff to address IT concerns promptly and efficiently.

• Provide guidance on system usage and functionality to enhance user experience.

• Monitor and maintain security protocols for systems and networks.

• Assist in the transition and future migration of systems, ensuring minimal disruption.

• Evaluate hardware and software performance to recommend upgrades or improvements.

Requirements • Proven experience in IT support within a manufacturing or similar environment.

• Strong understanding of networking principles, Windows servers, and PC maintenance.

• Familiarity with JobBOSS or equivalent manufacturing systems is advantageous.

• Proficiency in Active Directory and database management.

• Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.

• Effective communication skills for collaborating with non-technical staff.

• Knowledge of firewall technologies, backup solutions, and cloud-based systems.
