Description We are looking for an experienced Inventory Staff Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This position offers an opportunity to manage inventory accounting and financial reconciliation processes for convenience stores, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, journal entries, and inventory management.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inventory reconciliation to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.

• Collaborate with convenience store owners to reconcile store inventory and address discrepancies.

• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.

• Conduct revenue reconciliation and ensure proper allocation to profit and loss statements.

• Analyze financial results and provide insights into inventory-related expenditures.

• Prepare and review profit and loss balance sheets for accuracy and completeness.

• Communicate effectively with gas station owners to address financial inquiries and concerns.

• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite and SAP for ledger management and reporting.

• Assist with month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

• Monitor and maintain asset inventory records to ensure proper valuation. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on inventory management.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.

• Expertise in bank reconciliations and general ledger management.

• Strong knowledge of preparing and adjusting journal entries.

• Familiarity with month-end close processes and financial reporting.

• Experience with accounting software, particularly NetSuite and SAP.

• Ability to analyze profit and loss statements and balance sheets.

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with store owners and stakeholders.
