    Partnering with a great organization in Denver, CO looking for a Payroll Specialist.

     

    The Payroll Specialist will join a fantastic, well-tenured team with hybrid work flexibility!     Responsibilities for the Payroll Specialist includes...

     

    • Process employee payroll, including salaries, bonuses, severances, and other compensation, with precision and timeliness.

    • Manage and update payroll records for new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments, ensuring data accuracy.

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws by calculating and reporting withholdings accurately.

    • Oversee deductions for employee benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and other voluntary contributions.

    • Handle garnishment orders by prioritizing, entering data, and communicating with vendors and employees as needed.

    • Monitor and maintain timekeeping systems to track employee hours and attendance effectively.

    • Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management and other departments as required.

    • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies or errors in a thorough and timely manner.

    • Maintain organized and accurate payroll records, including tax documentation and payment histories.

    • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations and compliance with labor regulations.

    Requirements

    The ideal Payroll Specialist comes with...

     

    + 3+ years of payroll processing experience

    + UKG Pro or Workforce Management (a plus but not required)

    + Excel skills
