Description We are looking for a skilled Sr. Accounting Coordinator to join our team in Carmel, Indiana. This is a long-term contract position within the financial services industry, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise and a proven ability to manage high-volume transactions with precision.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer refunds accurately and ensure proper documentation is maintained.

• Apply payments to customer accounts while adhering to established procedures.

• Reconcile account discrepancies to ensure accurate balances and records.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve payment and refund issues.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.

• Meet deadlines effectively while maintaining high productivity in a fast-paced environment.

• Utilize accounting software systems to manage transactions and generate reports.

• Analyze financial data to support decision-making and improve processes.

• Assist in reviewing and improving workflows related to cash applications and accounts receivable. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles, demonstrating attention to detail.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.

• Experience managing high-volume transactions with exceptional attention to detail.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with accounts receivable, cash applications, and refund processing.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
