Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist with 13 to 15 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure Machine Learning Azure Open AI Service ML Ops Machine Learning Artificial Intelligence Natural Language Processing PyTorch and Python. Experience in Investment Banking Operations and Investment Banking & Brokerage is a plus. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

+ Be responsible for the development and deployment of machine learning models using Azure Machine Learning and Azure Open AI Service

+ Coordinate the implementation of ML Ops practices to ensure efficient and scalable model management

+ Provide expertise in machine learning and artificial intelligence to begin sophisticated business problems

+ Develop and optimize natural language processing models to improve data analysis capabilities

+ Apply PyTorch and Python to build and refine machine learning algorithms

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into business processes

+ Ensure the accuracy and reliability of machine learning models through meticulous testing and validation

+ Supervise and maintain the performance of deployed models making vital adjustments as needed

+ Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence to continuously improve solutions

+ Mentor and guide junior data scientists to feed a culture of learning and innovation

+ Communicate findings and insights to team members in a clear and concise manner

+ Give to the development of best practices and standards for machine learning projects

+ Support the companys mission by demonstrating data science to drive impactful business outcomes

Qualifications

+ Must have strong experience in Azure Machine Learning and Azure Open AI Service

+ Must have expertise in ML Ops Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence

+ Must have proficiency in Natural Language Processing PyTorch and Python

+ Nice to have experience in Investment Banking Operations and Investment Banking & Brokerage

+ Must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

+ Must have strong communication and teamwork abilities

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is ($137,500 - $161,500) depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
