    Admissions Officer – Oklahoma City, OK

     

    We are seeking a passionate and driven Admissions Officer to join our team in Oklahoma City. In this role, you will serve as the primary admissions counselor to prospective adult students, guiding them through academic program options, financial planning, and the admissions process. This is a fast-paced, service-oriented position that requires strong attention to detail, compliance awareness, and a commitment to helping students achieve their educational goals.

     

    *This role is 100% on site*

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Serve as the main point of contact for prospective students, responding to inquiries and scheduling interviews

    + Conduct admissions interviews to assess educational background, career goals, and program fit

    + Educate prospective students on academic programs, benefits, and enrollment processes

    + Assist with application submissions, review admission qualifications, and ensure prerequisites are met

    + Guide students through transcript requests and initial course registration

    + Collaborate with departments such as Financial Services, Academic Services, and the Registrar’s Office to finalize enrollments

    + Maintain accurate student records and uphold university and regulatory compliance standards

    Requirements

    What We’re Looking For:

    + Customer-Focused: 2–5 years of experience in customer service, consultative sales, or admissions preferred

    + Excellent Communicator: Able to connect authentically and effectively with diverse individuals

    + Organized & Adaptable: Comfortable managing multiple tasks while staying detail-oriented and flexible

    + Team Player: Works collaboratively and contributes to a positive team dynamic

    + Problem Solver: Resourceful and proactive, especially when faced with challenges

    + Driven: Strong internal motivation and passion for helping others succeed through education

    + Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience); candidates with some college credit are also encouraged to apply
