Robert Half is proud to partner with John Deere to find a reliable and detail-oriented Supply Management Planner. In this role, you’ll be on the front lines of John Deere’s global supply chain—ensuring timely delivery of purchased parts, supporting supplier performance, and helping to keep factory operations running smoothly. This fully onsite position is open to candidates located near any John Deere facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the delivery of purchased parts from both internal and external suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance and proactively address delays, shortages, or quality issues
- Collaborate with production teams to forecast part requirements and ensure adequate inventory
- Maintain strong communication with suppliers to manage expectations and resolve issues
- Use Excel to track deliveries, create reports, and manage supply chain data
- Participate in supply chain planning meetings and assist with process improvements
- Assist with root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for late deliveries
- Work with SAP and other internal systems to manage purchase orders and delivery schedules

Requirements
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems
- Internship or experience in a logistics, purchasing, or supply planning role
