Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain service provider and enterprise networks, including fixed wireless and municipal area networks.

• Collaborate with the Network Architect and team members on the design and implementation of network solutions.

• Conduct performance monitoring, testing, and analysis to ensure network reliability and efficiency.

• Install and configure networking hardware and software for enterprise and service provider environments.

• Implement and enforce network security protocols to safeguard data and infrastructure.

• Provide advanced technical support for escalated issues and assist in troubleshooting complex network problems.

• Participate in large-scale projects, such as network technology upgrades and hardware integration testing.

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, installation procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.

• Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure successful completion of assigned tasks.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• At least 3 years of experience in network administration, preferably in a service provider environment.

• Proficiency in routing protocols and technologies such as BGP, MPLS VPN, and Multicast.

• Hands-on experience with industry-standard hardware and solutions, including Cisco, Arista, Juniper, and Accedian Networks.

• Familiarity with monitoring and configuration tools like SolarWinds, Ansible, and Mosaic Subscriber Insight.

• Certification in relevant areas, such as Cisco or Juniper, is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with vendor management to resolve issues.
