Responsibilities:

This offer challenge and interesting opportunity to learn and grow. You can record daily cash transaction, monthly bank reconciliations, Prepares journal entries and account reconciliations to support month-end close. Supports reimbursement submissions. Processing midsize payroll . Have to handle employee conversations regarding questions about payroll. This person will be responsible for 401k funding. You will have to look at Funding to make sure it is correct. Excel spreadsheet v look ups and pivot tables, CSV uploads for fidelity and bank transactions. Excel format restrictive. This is a department of 13 people. They are on ADP workforce now comprehensive.

+ Record banking and investment activity, including bank reconciliations, preparation of journal entries and related reports.

+ Support monthly reimbursement submissions for grant activities.

+ Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations to support month end close.

+ Prepare worksheets and schedules to support analysis of monthly budget to actual variances.

+ Prepare assigned analyses and schedules to support audit and tax return preparation. Serve as backup to other team members.

+ Review bi-weekly payroll using the ADP system.

+ Respond to staff requests for information or assistance.

+ Prepares journal entries and account reconciliations to support month-end close.

+ Records daily cash transaction and monthly bank reconciliations.

+ Review payroll processing, utilizing the ADP system, to include benefit funding and submission of payroll related returns.

+ Supports reimbursement submissions for grant activities

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree is a must

3 -15 plus years journal entries, general ledger and account rec experience.

Payroll experience a must ADP a plus ideally – for 70 people

Mid size company experience or above

ERP system experience required (not just QuickBooks)

Netsuite a +

Communicate with individuals have about their payroll questions
