    Description We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Communications Coordinator to join our team in Saint Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will play a key part in designing and implementing communication strategies that effectively promote our program and engage diverse audiences.     Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans, including promotional campaigns and advertising strategies to boost program visibility.

    • Create and manage content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, ensuring consistent audience growth and engagement.

    • Maintain and update the program’s website, ensuring content accuracy, functionality, and user-friendly navigation.

    • Analyze online traffic and engagement using tools like Google Analytics to measure the effectiveness of web and social media strategies.

    • Organize and coordinate meetings, presentations, and promotional events that effectively communicate the program’s message.

    • Serve as the primary contact for media inquiries, coordinating press releases and public communications to ensure consistent messaging.

    • Collaborate with program participants and community stakeholders to deliver impactful outreach initiatives.

    • Develop and design communication materials, including brochures, email campaigns, and advertisements.

    • Provide support for additional marketing activities as needed and adapt to evolving program goals. Requirements

     

    Education and Experience

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Public Relations, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

    + Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in advertising, marketing, or communications roles.

    + Strong knowledge of effective marketing and advertising practices, including familiarity with social media platforms and search engine optimization (SEO) strategies.

    Additional Qualifications

    + Proficiency in website and social media management tools and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, YouTube Insights, and Hootsuite.

    + Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences including students, parents, vendors, staff, and the general public.

    + Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions, and to ask clarifying questions as needed.

    + Strong proofreading skills and attention to grammar, punctuation, and spelling in written content.

    + Demonstrated time-management and organizational skills.

    + Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.

    Physical Requirements

    + Ability to perform office-based work while seated for extended periods (up to 6 hours per day).

    + Proficient in computer use for data entry, communication, and content creation.

    + Capacity to maintain focus and attention to detail on assigned tasks.
