We’re looking for a Palantir Foundry Developer to work on innovative solutions that support Jacobs’ diverse range of projects and programs around the globe. In your role, you will be a lead developer on various Foundry built solutions, making integrations into client systems, incorporating AI/LLMs into solutions, and managing solution deployments. You will work with a diverse team of Program/Project Managers, a Global team of Palantir developers (Foundry and AIP), and the Digital & Data team at Jacobs.
The chosen candidate will become a member of the Digital & Data team at Jacobs, helping drive innovation in technical project work for our clients in collaboration with subject matter experts, technologists, engineers, data scientists, project managers, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead developer on Foundry and AIP solutions and projects.
* Support other developers, some learning Palantir, on project teams.
* Architect solutions and tools based on client and project manager requirements.
* Work with a project manager and/or SCRUM lead to ensure delivery success.
* Develop frameworks for standard solution offerings that can be deployed quickly and then customized based on client requirements.
* Cross-collaboration between markets, variable business units, and geographies (global time zones).
* Work with global product teams to develop innovative solutions and products in Palantir Foundry.
Primary Requirements:
* 5+ years’ experience with Python and React
* 2+ years’ experience with Palantir Foundry
* Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs)
* Experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Software Engineering/Development, Software Architecture, etc.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
* Strong coder with shown proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with Palantir’s Carbon and AIP
* Experience with RAG, Prompt Engineering and LLM tuning techniques
* Experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, and/or Data Science
* Experience integrating systems and through APIs or other techniques
* Strong engineering background, preferred in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, and Data Science
* Proficiency in React
* Familiarity with Ontology SDK (OSDK)
Location:
* Remote-based in the United States.
* Anticipate occasional travel for team meetings and client meetings, mainly in North America.
