THE POSITION
As an IT Manager: Workplace Engineer at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the workplace infrastructure, including end-user devices, collaboration tools, and support activities. Your role will involve ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our IT systems, as well as implementing and maintaining best practices for workplace management.
You will report directly to our Workplace Employee Experience Leader and work out of our Morris Plains, NJ, Charlotte, NC, or Houston, TX locations on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the productivity and efficiency of our workforce. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our workplace systems, ensuring they align seamlessly with the organization's evolving requirements. Your expertise in workplace engineering, problem-solving capabilities, and ability to address complex technical challenges will be critical in maintaining our digital environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Manage and oversee the workplace infrastructure, including end-user devices, collaboration tools, and support activities
+ Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our IT systems
+ Implement and maintain best practices for workplace management
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute system upgrades and enhancements
+ Monitor the performance of our workplace systems, ensuring swift resolution of technical challenges
+ Document system configurations, processes, and procedures, facilitating knowledge transfer and standardization
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
+ 5+ years of experience in workplace engineering, end-user device management, and collaboration tools
+ Proficiency in workplace administration, with a proven track record of accomplishments
+ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
+ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
+ Experience with Microsoft Technologies like MS copilot
+ Prior experience in infrastructure automation technologies
+ Strong vendor management skills & experience working across geographies
WE VALUE
+ Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
+ Experience in supporting remote and hybrid work environments
+ Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies in workplace engineering
+ Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom
+ Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to lead system upgrade initiatives
