As an SAP Basis IT Manager here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the SAP Basis team and ensuring the smooth operation of the SAP system. You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and performance of the SAP landscape, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement. Your expertise in SAP Basis administration and management will be crucial in supporting the company's business goals and ensuring the stability and security of the SAP environment.

You will report directly to ERP Director IT. This role will work out of our Morris Plains, Charlotte or Houston location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's business processes by ensuring the availability and performance of the SAP system. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance and support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and lead the SAP Basis team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the SAP system

• Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and upgrades

• Ensure compliance with security and data protection policies

• Develop and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures

• Provide technical guidance and support to end users and stakeholders

In October 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of its Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Until that is finalized, you will be an employee of Honeywell. It is the intention that this role will convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. We expect this to occur in later 2025 or early 2026.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration and management

• Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture and infrastructure

• Experience with SAP system installations, upgrades, and migrations

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

WE VALUE

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

• SAP certifications in Basis administration

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based SAP solutions

• Knowledge of ITIL best practices
