Controller

Hours: Monday-Friday (40 hrs.)

Salary Range: $90-$100k/yr.

Controller Job Duties:

+ Assist in the management and oversight of the company’s financial operations

+ Supports the financial team in ensuring accuracy in accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with financial regulations and policies

+ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

+ Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports to senior management

+ Reconcile balance sheet accounts and review profit and loss statement

+ Maintain accurate records in the general ledger

+ Process journal entries and accurate adjustments as required

+ Monitor and ensure proper classification of expenses and revenue

+ Assist operations in proper inventory cycle counting and adjustment processes

+ Analyze financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and potential financial risks

+ Prepare and present financial analysis reports for management review

+ Help ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies

+ Support audits and ensure compliance with financial standards

+ Assist in improving internal controls and financial procedures

+ Assist in cash flow management and reporting

+ Support the finance team with cash forecasting and ensuring liquidity

+ Use the company’s ERP system (Deacom) to enter financial transactions

+ Ensure data accuracy and consistency in financial software systems

Controller Job Requirements

+ Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

+ 7-10 years of experience in Accounting/Controller role in a Manufacturing setting

+ Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

+ Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, data analysis)

+ Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret financial data

+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment

+ Strong work ethic and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
