Adecco is hiring Haul Truck Operators for a temporary assignment running from late May through September!

We’re assisting a well-respected mining operation located just 8 miles north of Gillette, WY, in the Powder River Basin. This mine supplies coal to consumer-owned electric utilities across the Great Plains, Rocky Mountain, and Southwest regions. Position Overview:

As a Haul Truck Operator, you will play a key role in the mine's daily operations by safely transporting coal and overburden material. This is an **entry-level opportunity** —no prior experience required, and on-the-job training is provided!

Job Duties Include:

+ Operate haul trucks to transport dirt and/or coal from active mining pits to stockpiles, crushers, or designated dump sites.

+ Follow signals and guidance from loading and unloading equipment operators.

+ Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on assigned equipment.

+ Keep accurate daily records of loads hauled and equipment inspections.

+ Communicate effectively using two-way radios to coordinate activities.

+ Clean and maintain haul trucks as required.

+ Report any mechanical issues or damage immediately to supervisors.

+ Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures.

+ Assist in identifying hazardous worksite conditions.

+ Complete other duties as assigned.

Training Requirements:

+ Completion of a 24-hour MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) Training prior to starting.

+ 8-hour On-Site Training upon arrival.

+ Additional structured in-class and on-the-job training, including trainer ride-alongs and independent operating hours, culminating in a formal equipment skills assessment.

Qualifications:

+ Reliability is a must—you need to be ready to work at the beginning of each shift!

+ No previous haul truck operating experience is required—this is a great **entry-level** opportunity with room for growth.

+ Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

+ Strong commitment to safety.

Pay:

**Pay Details:** $27.00 per hour
