    JOB TITLE: Procurement & Sourcing Analyst

     

    DEPARTMENT: Supply Chain

    HOURS PER WEEK: 40

    SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, Standard Business Hours

    SUMMARY

    The Procurement & Sourcing Analyst is responsible for coordination, validation and analysis of the complete item life cycle from initial procurement, utilization, and contract renewals. The Procurement and Sourcing Analyst is responsible for analyzing current buying and utilization trends and presenting opportunities for cost savings system wide. This person is responsible for maintaining accurate pricing information in the MMIS system and working with Vendors directly.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    + ​ Coordinates value analysis projects and maintains a project plan for each initiative including: Inventory and MM updates, updating clinical staff for Preference Card Updates, System MMIS updates and Contract alignment with Vendor

    + Monitor item utilization and supplier KPI’s and drive corrective action as needed to maintain high performance. Maintains database of conversions and standard health system supplies while assisting with developing a standard formulary through acute and non-acute prime distributor/s.

    + Assist in supplier strategy, Cost Savings opportunities, and Sourcing Manager initiatives while expanding clinical knowledge

    + Manages the day-to-day activities associated with accurate pricing to support the organization including loading and analyzing new pricing agreements. Develop and maintain price change reports and scorecards.

    + Fosters and maintains positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including the operational buying team, Clinical Staff, Operations, vendors, distributor/s and the GPO.

    + Conduct ad hoc analysis and build advanced reporting to identify opportunities and drive future decisions

    + Able to consistently perform at high levels while handling multiple competing priorities.

    + Strictly maintains the security and confidentiality of all information, maintaining that environment through the values of all staff that encounter information in the MMIS systems.

    + Maintains item master accuracy related to, but not limited to, standard nomenclature for item description, MMIS part number, vendor catalog number, manufacturer catalog number, unit of purchase, unit price, charge code, etc. Perform regular maintenance and analysis as required to ensure accuracy and quality of data.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    + Bachelor degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field required

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    + Excellent project management and analytical skills

    + Experience with an ERP system is preferred

    + Experience with a Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) is preferred

    + Excellent reading and language comprehension

    + Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) to both external customers and internal team members

    + Meticulous attention to detail with an ability to follow a work plan and data cleansing procedures in a fast paced, team environment.

    + Proficient with Microsoft applications including Outlooks, Word, PPT, and advanced knowledge in Excel.

    + Two (2) years Healthcare Supply Chain environment experience preferred

    + Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP) preferred

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

    $60,500.00 - $65,500.00

    The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
