Job Title: Contract Analyst/Contract Manager
Job Description
This position involves leading the contract analysis, negotiation, execution, and life-cycle management of complex civil and military contracts for manufacturing within the aerospace supply chain. The role applies commercial knowledge for process improvement and enhances commercial capabilities, with a strong focus on trade/export compliance and US Government contracting regulations (FAR and DFAR).
Responsibilities
+ Analyze and negotiate bids and sales contracts (30%)
+ Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies (30%)
+ Manage the full life cycle of commercial contracts (30%)
+ Implement functional improvements for tools and processes (10%)
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of B2B contract management/contract analysis experience in a highly regulated environment
+ Proven track record of negotiating high-value, complex commercial agreements
+ Experience analyzing financial risk, liability, and limitations
+ Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office software
+ Eligibility for ITAR compliance
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree (preferred but not required)
+ Further education in law (LLB) is advantageous
+ Experience with trade/export compliance regulations
+ Familiarity with US Government contracting regulations (FAR and DFAR)
+ Experience in the manufacturing and aerospace industry segments
Work Environment
This position requires on-site work Monday to Thursday with 4x10 hour shifts, and occasional overtime on Fridays. The role demands excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, organizational ability, integrity, and a solutions-oriented mindset. The work environment is within a manufacturing facility requiring steel-toed shoes (reimbursable up to $125 per year). Dress code is suitable for a manufacturing setting, with jeans being acceptable. Confidentiality and discretion are paramount, especially in payroll functions.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $145000.00/yr.
