    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months experience as a steward or dishwasher and the ability to work a varied schedule that includes mornings, nights, weekends and holidays\. Previous hotel and restaurant experience is a plus\!

     

    A Utility Stewardis responsible fortransporting and cleaning cooking utensils andin the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability\.

     

    The hourly rate for this position is $19\.50 \- $20\.00\.

     

    What will I be doing?

     

    As a Steward, you wouldbe responsible fortransporting and cleaning cooking utensils andin the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability\. Specifically, you willbe responsible forperforming the following tasks to the highest standards:

     

    Wash dishes andoperatethe dishwasher to clean all chinaware,silverwareand cooking utensils

     

    Scrub pots and pans

     

    Burnish, de\-tarnish and polish silver

     

    Stock andmaintainsupplies and equipment

     

    Perform cleaning duties including, but not limited to,moppingand removing trash

     

    Transport and store clean

     

    Train other stewards, as needed

     

    Prepare and place cleanfor events and functions
