Responsibilities

+ Create relationships with clients and guide them through the case process from intake to settlement

+ Formulate treatment plans for clients ensuring they are receiving the best possible care

+ Monitor cases by verifying client attendance; observing, evaluating and communicating treatments and responses; advocating for needed services and entitlements; obtaining additional resources; intervening in crisis; providing the utmost professional support

+ Maintain client records by reviewing case notes; logging events and progress

+ Communicates client progress by conducting weekly interdisciplinary meetings and evaluations.

+ Request medical records, mail, scan and track government claim forms and manage the resolution of property damage claims

+ Draft legal documents such as letters of representation and preservation of evidence

+ Ensure client file is complete for demand and potential litigation

+ Maintain client confidence by keeping client/attorney information confidential

Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree preferably in criminal justice, sociology, or related studies preferred but not mandatory

+ 1-3 years of case manager (pre-litigation) experience preferred but not mandatory

+ Strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities

+ Analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Excellent telephone customer service etiquette and support

+ Superior time management and capable to handle multiple cases at once

+ Excellent communication skills (verbal, listening and written) and effectively organized

+ Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace

+ CASEpeer legal management software experience a plus

+ Team-oriented and independently capable

+ A strong desire to expand knowledge of personal injury law
