    POSITION:Eagle's Care Staff (Part-time)

     

    (Formerly K-6 Extension Program)

     

    2024-2025 School Year

     

    ASSIGNMENT:Rogers Middle School

    4.75 hours per day /10 month (follows K-6 student calendar)

     

    Work hours: 7:00 am - 8:45 am AND/OR 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Primary Responsibilities:The assistant teacher will report directly to the lead teacher at their site. They will be responsible for the daily implementation of the programs at their site.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist Lead Teacher with planning and implementation of programs for children

    • Be a team player

    • Maintain good rapport and communication with parents

    • Maintain confidentiality

    • Maintain a safe and secure environment for children and staff

    • To report to assigned job on time and maintain a good attendance record

    • Other duties as assigned

    Expectations:

    • Report to work on time

    • Maintain a responsible attendance record

    • Professional behavior at all times including a high level of confidentiality

    REQUIRED SKILLS /

    MINIUMUM ABILITIES:

    * Assistant teachers must have a minimum a high school diploma

     

    and substantial experience working with children under the age of 12 years old.

     

    * Knowledge of the developmental characteristics of early

     

    adolescents/adolescents; ability to work successfully with

     

    students; excellent interpersonal skills.

     

    * Must be at least 18 years of age

    SALARY:

    $15.00 per hour

    STARTING DATE:

    September 5, 2023 or as soon as practical
