• Electrician

    Amentum (Annapolis Junction, MD)


    Performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy. May be responsible for a specific focus, such as elevators and dumbwaiters, integrated security systems, vehicles, generators, transformers, switchboards, circuit breakers, motors, etc.

    Requirements:

    + 3-5 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent

    + Ability to run conduit.

    + Install electrical components to include but not limited to: electrical panels / lighting / switches / receptacles / control wiring / fire alarm

    + Assist with the project goals in supporting other trades as needed

    + Working knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

    + Communications skills, ability to interact with other skilled trade professionals, designers, and clients.

    + Knowledge of National Electric Code, state and local building codes.

    + Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment and products.

    + Use of testing equipment and hand tools.

    + Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.

    + Currently have and maintain a TS Clearance

    + Overseas experience

    + Up-to-date electrician’s license.

    + 5 - 7 years commercial or industrial electrical experience

    + Experience with new builds, and renovation projects
