Are you looking for a challenge and career growth with the Architecture Team at a top U.S. homebuilder? NVR, the parent company of Ryan Homes, NVHomes, and Heartland Homes, is searching for an Architectural Specialist to join our innovative Architectural Project Team. These teams develop crucial construction documentation for sales, permitting, and homebuilding construction.
You'll play a central role in our product development process, including collaborative 3D building information modeling (BIM) using AutoCAD. Projects span design drawings, structural analysis, HVAC systems, and building code compliance. You'll support homebuilding personnel with permitting and inspection challenges, ensuring seamless project execution.

Responsibilities:
+ Manage construction materials, including cost analysis, material takeoffs, interaction with automated estimating systems, and auditing BIM data.
+ Complete project work in at least two Architectural Team Disciplines: Design, Architecture, Fabrication, Code & Engineering, HVAC, or Estimating.
+ Maintain project schedules and record hours worked.
+ Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
+ Facilitate discussions, provide recommendations, and develop solutions with various NVR departments.
+ Consult with experts to ensure complete and accurate estimates.
+ Coordinate phases of the project with third-party consultants.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a construction-related field.
+ 6+ years' experience in architecture, engineering, or construction.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD.
+ Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
+ Experience in design development and construction documentation.
+ Preferred experience in residential or production homebuilding.
+ Strong attention to detail, organizational, planning, and time management skills.
+ Problem-solving and analytical skills.
+ Effective communication and collaboration skills.
+ Experience leading, mentoring, and/or coaching junior team members preferred.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
+ Comprehensive understanding of materials required for residential construction.
