We are currently seeking a Health Services Paramedic to work on a full time basis. This position will be located in West Jefferson, Ohio.

The position is located at our **West Jefferson, Ohio** facility.

Schedule:

+ M-F, 7:30am - 5:30pm

+ M-TH, 7:30am - 5:30pm (off Friday)

Responsibilities

+ The Health Services Paramedic provides clinical and administrative support for the operation of an on-site occupational health service for supporting complex research and development operations.

+ This includes both clinical services, technical tasks, administrative work and emergency response.

+ The medical emergency response team must be able to quickly respond to chemical, biological, or energetic incidents wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.

Key Qualifications

+ Minimum of two years paramedic experience.

+ Associate's degree

+ State certified paramedic (Ohio)

+ ACLS certification

+ Certification in CPR, first aid and AED

+ Ability to learn to perform phlebotomy, audiometry, spirometry, vision screening, and respirator fit testing

+ Capable of using respiratory protection and protective clothing in an emergency response capacity.

+ Ability to work in a complex research setting with personnel from diverse disciplines.

+ Superior organization and clinical management skills.

+ Ability to learn and apply appropriate emergency medical response to potential exposures from biological, chemical and energetic research

+ Proficient in use of basic computer software programs

+ Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively and build relationships.

+ Ability to instruct CPR

Preferred Requirements

+ CPR Instructor

+ Skills in preparing reviewing, and updating medical procedures.

+ Interest or experience in biosafety and/or emergency preparedness.
