Job Description:

The School of Natural and Mathematical Sciences invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Chemistry with a focus on teaching freshman nursing chemistry (general, organic, and biochemistry) and general science courses.

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Teach nursing chemistry lecture and laboratory courses

+ Teach general science and non-majors’ chemistry courses

+ Participate in departmental and school-wide activities, including:

+ Department meetings

+ Colloquium

+ Other academic and service-related events

Requirements

+ Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field (required)

+ Experience teaching in higher education is preferred, but not required
