Responsibilities
+ Description: The NetOPS Engineer will provide direct support to the university. This position is critical to the support needs of the organization.
+ What You'll Do:
+ This position will support the entire network operational infrastructure for the Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU).
+ A CompTIA Security+ certification is required within the first 6 months of hire date.
+ Candidate must have or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
+ Candidate will be responsible for creating network accounts, supporting entire org staff, working closely with the IM&T group.
+ Provide support for client servers, hardware and software, troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures.
+ Write standard operating procedures (SOP) for IT policies.
+ Key Responsibilities:
+ Candidate will provide service to all DSCU staff. Great customer service skills are a must.
+ Work in conjunction with DSCA IM&T group to solve various IT issues.

+ Minimum Qualifications
+ Education: Candidate must have a BA in an IT field. Candidate can have 5 years of direct IT experience in lieu of degree.
+ Certifications/Licenses:
+ Comp TIA Sec+ or obtain within 6 months of hire.
+ Experience:
+ Candidate must have a background in IT, software, and hardware applications. Good customer service skills are required as you will be working closely providing support to colleagues.
+ Other Requirements:
+ Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
+ U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data system

+ The successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
+ The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
+ USD $80,000 - $100,000
+ Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
