    Job Description

    Position Summary

    The Transitional Leasing Representative is responsible for generating revenue through Pop-up and short-term deal making for multiple centers in a specific geographic area, by canvassing, cold calling, growing existing tenants and identifying new concepts. Required to meet business income goals through aggressive deal-making for new transactions and renewals. Must communicate effectively and persuasively with prospective and existing tenants and local, regional, and corporate employees of various levels.     Responsibilities

    + Collaborate closely with Permanent Leasing partners and leaders to prepare the annual Business Plan for assigned center(s) and provide ongoing updates to forecasts throughout the calendar year.

    + Generate leads to surpass income goals for all assigned centers by leveraging local and regional best-in-class brands.

    + Conduct canvassing in the region to identify and develop new retail concepts for the centers, and work to expand their retail operations within the assigned centers.

    + Implement the “Pop-Up” store strategy to introduce new retailers to the market, creating opportunities for long-term, permanent placement within the organization.

    + Enhance the value of assigned centers by negotiating agreements with favorable terms for the company, aiming to drive revenue growth year over year.

    + Maintain a nimble and proactive approach to quickly respond to unexpected vacancies or opportunities as they arise.

    + Stay current on competitive leasing trends within the industry and in the regions/areas of all assigned centers.

    + Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all account activity, and submit required reports by the designated deadlines.

    + Maintain clear communication regarding the pipeline of leads and active deal activity with internal stakeholders, including Permanent Leasing teams, Asset Management, etc.

    + Coordinate all national client leasing activities to ensure consistency, maximize rental income, and deliver exceptional customer service.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or GED required.

    + Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Business, Accounting, or related field.

    + Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales role.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with a solid understanding of Salesforce. Familiarity with Yardi is a plus.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Well-developed sales skills with a proven ability to initiate and close sales contracts.

    + Solid understanding of the specialty leasing process, rent structures, and legal terminology.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.

    + Self-motivated with excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.

    Travel

    + Travel required 25% to 50%.
