Your key responsibilities

+ Lead performance management, month-end closing, forecasting, and budgeting activities across the Germantown, WI, Waukesha, WI and South Bend, IN sites.

+ Partner with site operations and cost center owners to drive cost control, enhance cost awareness, and support finance-based decision-making.

+ Manage product costing processes, including coverage, efficiency, revaluation analysis, and ensure alignment with production volumes and site strategies.

+ Oversee inventory management (raw materials, scrap, rework, provisions) and working capital forecasting to support operational excellence.

+ Support capital expenditure planning, business case preparation, and continuous improvement initiatives (IMPACT transformation).

+ Collaborate with global operations control teams and cluster controllers to harmonize financial processes, optimize reporting, and implement best practices across sites.

This position is eligible for the dsm-firmenich Hybrid Working model, spending 3 days per week in the office and the balance of the work week in a home office.

You bring

+ 10 years of Finance & Control experience in an international environment, with a Master’s degree in Business Administration and/or Controlling preferred.

+ Strong knowledge of accounting principles (preferably IFRS) and advanced expertise in ERP systems (SAP) and other IT tools.

+ Prior experience in Operations Controlling and partnering with diverse business leadership teams.

+ Excellent interpersonal communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

+ Proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to thrive under strict deadlines and matrix reporting structures.

+ High-level conceptual thinking and strong analytical skills.
