JOB PURPOSE:
Oaks at Whitaker Glen, a premier Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), is seeking an experienced and energetic Director of Sales and Marketing to lead census development and community outreach across our full continuum of care — including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation. This strategic role is ideal for a mission-driven leader who excels in relationship-building, understands the senior living market, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and execute an integrated sales and marketing strategy to drive occupancy across all levels of care within the CCRC.
2. Manage all phases of the sales cycle: lead generation, inquiry response, community tours, follow-up, and move-in coordination.
3. Cultivate relationships with prospective residents, families, and professional referral sources such as hospitals, physicians, care managers, and senior service agencies.
4. Oversee community outreach and events, ensuring the PruittHealth brand is visible and well-represented in the local market.
5. Collaborate with the leadership team, clinical staff, and admissions coordinators to ensure smooth transitions for residents through different care levels.
6. Monitor market trends and competition, providing insight and recommendations for continuous improvement.
7. Utilize CRM systems to track leads, conversions, and performance metrics to inform strategy.
8. Ensure marketing practices are aligned with state and federal regulations and reflect the mission and values of PruittHealth.
Qualifications - External
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
5 years of progressive sales and marketing experience in senior living, healthcare, or CCRC environments.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:

**ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:** (Preferred qualifications)
• Strong understanding of the CCRC model and the value proposition of a full continuum of care.
• Exceptional communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead and coach others toward performance goals.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and marketing analytics tools.
• Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, Medicare/Medicaid, and referral processes is highly desirable.
