Position Overview
Working in a fast-paced environment and matrixed organization, the Lead Analyst will provide support and analysis to business partners with ongoing exposure to high-levels of management within the Finance and Global Legal Organization.
This role will work cross-functionally to compile and account for large volumes of data, with materiality of ~$800MM, ensuring communication and visibility to the expense during critical close and forecast periods. This individual will perform quarterly closings and business forecast updates, variance analysis, and be responsible for ensuring that compliance requirements are met. They will own the preparation and presentation of forecast updates and quarterly results packages and coordinating with affiliate companies to align on inter-company budgets and cross-charges. The individual will also participate in and lead ad-hoc projects and support systems implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Independently lead the quarterly legal charge out process and proactively drive process improvements and automation while effectively managing complexity
+ Proactively and independently develop enhanced reporting to provide increased transparency and insightful analytics to the Legal and Finance Leadership Teams, including EC Members
+ Independently Lead the Business Plan and Forecast processes for areas of responsibility while effectively managing complexity in a matrixed organization
+ Partner with the Legal Operations Team regarding financial forecasts, quarterly closing requirements, and providing guidance and support of the digital roadmap for Legal
+ Support technology solutions for streamlined and standardized analysis and reporting including the Corporate Function roll out for key Signifi initiatives
+ Ensure all compliance requirements are completed timely and accurately
+ Support Business Partners in evaluating and addressing ad hoc requirement
Qualifications:
+ A Bachelor degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance.
+ A minimum of five years of experience in finance and/or accounting is preferred.
+ Candidate must possess excellent analytical, technical, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to balance attention to detail while effectively framing and communicating.
+ Strong financial analysis, business partnering, team building, and influence management skills are needed. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Ariba, and SAP General Ledger skills and the ability to learn and adapt to a changing technology landscape is required.
+ The candidate should be able to think creatively, maintain and improve sound business processes while working in a dynamic, team environment.
+ Individual must work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively take on leadership roles while managing ambiguity.
+ This position will be located in New Brunswick, NJ and may require up to 5% travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$91,000-$147,200
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
