Job Description
BAE Systems is offering an exciting opportunity to support the AEGIS Technical Representative (TECHREP) program as a Program Control Analyst. BAE Systems supports AEGIS TECHREP to independently assess and validate total ship combat system design conducted through engineering development, and test & evaluation. Additionally, we monitor production and provide acceptance of the AEGIS Weapon system (AWS) and AEGIS Combat System (ACS) for U.S. and foreign navies, and integrate and test combat systems equipment and computer programs.This position offers the opportunity to deliver financial support to a Government contract.
Responsibilities include:
+ Oversight of the financial execution of multiple programs
+ P6 schedule analysis and variance reporting
+ Ensuring on time and accurate financial reporting for responsible programs
+ Providing financial guidance to the Program Management Teams
+ Collaborating with Accounting, Pricing, Government Compliance, Financial Planning and Functional Teams
+ Review cost estimates for proposed efforts, ensuring that proposals are financially sound and risks are understood and margins are achievable
+ Providing analytical data and recommendations for required improvement
+ Providing and interpreting data as required for contract accounting activities
+ Assisting with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
This position interacts with various functional teams, along with a small team of other Analysts, in executing scope under the contact in order to adequately report performance against plan to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met. The selected candidate will provide financial decision support to stakeholders focused on minimizing risk and maximizing return of program profit by managing financial requirements and program execution. This Analyst is responsible for supporting cross-functional program teams and project managers with detailed and accurate financial analysis while communicating financial status to all levels of the organization.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Business Degree and 3 years work experience
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
+ Experience with Project Management philosophies.
+ Capable of efficient and relevant decision-making
+ Ability to work independently toward given end-state
+ Ability to transform/analyze data and make decisions in a fast-paced rapidly and changing environment
+ Ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers
+ Effective communications/presentation skills
+ Ability to work with diverse work teams
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Business degree in Finance or Management
+ Prior work experience in Program Controls
+ Experience with Earned Value Management
+ Power BI or other data visualization experience
+ MS planner/Oracle Primavera P6 experience
+ Project Management Professional certificate
+ General Ledger Accounting Experience
+ Proposal/Pricing experience
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $66084 - $112343
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
