DESCRIPTION
The Sales Support Manager is an essential function managing the Sales Support Team within a specific region. They will work closely with all vendors orders, confirming accuracy, ensuring vendor commitments in accuracy and pricing, preventing any financial deductions. Sales Support Manager must possess proven strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to interact successfully with vendors, customers and managers in a specific region.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions:
+ Review and approve time sheets, expense reports, and success factors for all direct reports.
+ Review ordering / purchases products from customer.
+ Auditing all forms for completion, accuracy and inclusion to prevent any negative financial impact or deductions.
+ Confirm orders commitment with vendors in specific region.
+ Minimize / deductions and review order with Business Managers.
+ Ensure management of vendor’s Demos have been scheduled and performed.
+ Tracking, ensuring all materials for each scheduled Demo is available and on site.
+ Track and deal with member complaints and queries.
+ Possess a comprehensive knowledge of the Customer’s operation and key competitors.
+ Receiving and handling of client samples.
+ Managing accurate / updated files for all item spec sheets / pricing / common forms on central locations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education & Work Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, Customer Service, or related field preferred
+ 7 year’s business process solutions, customer service and/or office administrative experience preferred in manufacturing, costing, pricing, distribution, product line, etc.
+ 3 years management experience, previous experience training and developing a team.
+ 2 years’ experience food broker experience preferred.
+ Experience hiring, firing, leading others within own units. Establishes retention and success planning.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
+ Strong interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills.
+ Strong ability to effectively communicate effectively with vendor, customers and team-members.
+ Strong ability to operate computer systems, proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
+ Strong ability to multi-task, strong problem solving with attention to detail.
+ Ability to protects and secures all confidential and proprietary information.
+ Must have a valid driver’s license and must be able to drive a car for extended periods of time. This
+ position will require driving to Costco warehouse for competitor shop or other retail shops
