Job Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for organizing, coordinating and supporting all human resource department projects and processes for the company. This person will work directly with and assist the human resources director to fulfill a variety of necessary HR tasks. This includes recruitment, maintaining positive employee relations, training, communicating company procedures for new or existing employees and performing various other administrative tasks.
Duties and Expectations:
+ Assists in the development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures
+ Responds to inquiries regarding these policies and procedures
+ Serves as the front-line resource to answer employee questions
+ Provides consultative guidance and coaching to managers and employees on human resources-related matters, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, goals, and objectives.
+ Uses knowledge of human resource functions to ensure policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance and consistently applied
+ Assists with recruiting needs as necessary (coordinates and performs phone screens, participates in interviews, and prepares candidates for hire, etc.)
+ Enters data for the Human Resources Information System (ADP)
+ Assists with HR related training to include enrollment, tracking, revision of materials and delivery of content
+ Assists with new employee orientations
+ Completes project work as assigned
+ Uses Lean thinking and methodologies to continually improve administrative workflow
Education, Experience, and Skills:
+ Associate’s Degree in Human Resources or related field of study is required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
+ Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience working in a Human Resources team
+ Intermediate/Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook is required
+ Strong communication and strong organizational skills
+ Project management skills are preferred
+ Experience in a Recruiting/Talent Acquisition environment preferred
+ Experience with ADP preferred
