SUMMARY OF POSITION FUNCTION:
Coordinate and lead the recruitment efforts for the agency, under the charter of the strategic recruitment plan. Provide monthly and/or quarterly HR metrics (recruiting data).
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Maintain, update (as necessary) the strategic ‘Recruitment Plan’ for the agency
+ Post open positions internally and/or externally, as needed.
+ Sourcing, finding, and reaching out to potential candidates.
+ Attend employer (Spectrum sponsored) and/or third-party sponsored career or job fairs to attract job candidates, and HR related seminars/networking events
+ Develop and maintain job descriptions and pay grades for all employees, ensuring the information is up to date.
+ Post open positions internally and/or externally, as needed.
+ Assist and maintain agency-wide background screenings for new hires and interns (including physical exams, drug screen, fingerprinting, criminal background history, SEL authorization), ensuring Justice Center regulations are adhered to (including SCR background)
+ Assist in coordinating schedules for new-hire and intern orientations.

+ complete “engagement check-ins/stay interviews.”
+ Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport.
+ Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
+ Provide monthly and/or quarterly HR metrics (recruiting data).
+ Cross-functionally train with HR team members.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
+ Associates degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required
EXPERIENCE:
+ Minimum 2-year recruitment experience required
+ Must possess a valid New York state Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
COMPENSATION: $23.09/hr - $29.44/hr
