Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager for our Corporate Accounting team who will be responsible for planning and supporting complex accounting activities as well as supporting the monthly close process. Position expectations include accounting research as well as heavy involvement with strategic priorities, process improvements and team development. We are looking for someone who thrives in dynamic work environments and adds value to critical finance projects.
** This role is Hybrid and will require you to be in office 3 days per week in downtown Seattle, WA. We do not offer relocation for this role.
A day in the life…
+ Executes month-end close, reconciliations and variance analysis processes to ensure timely, accurate financial data that is in compliance with GAAP and Company Accounting Policies
+ Effectively partners with finance teams, business lines, technology and others across the organization to continually improve processes and develop influential relationships
+ Takes a leadership role in building teams and supporting career growth
+ Drives the decision-making process and is solution-oriented, analytical and process-focused
+ Leverages highly developed and current GAAP technical skill set, and effectively communicates technical concepts in position papers, presentations and /or verbally to business partners in "plain English"
+ Constantly strives to exceed goals, requirements, previous accomplishments and expectations
+ Challenges accounting or process assumptions to ensure conclusions reached are appropriate, whether for a technical accounting matter or a process flow for a strategic initiative
You own this if you have…
+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (licensed CPA preferred)
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience with 3+ years of public accounting
+ Experience with Oracle preferred
+ Proven ability to make sound, fact-based decisions and recommendations.
+ Experience as a manager, successfully leading, directing and coaching
+ Effective written and oral communication skills
+ Ability to interpret financial data, analyze variances, and understand underlying transactions
+ Broad understanding of the control environment, including organization and supervisory control expectations

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
Washington: $110,000 - $210,000 Annually
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
