Position Description
TheDepartment of Biology (https://www.cose.txst.edu/) invites applications for a full time, non-tenure-track Assistant Professor of Instruction position in the field of human anatomy and physiology with duties to begin in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026. We seek an experienced and dedicated instructor to offer face-to-face lecture courses and to coordinate lab classes in human anatomy and physiology. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in departmental and university meetings, committees and service activities, and to assume other duties as assigned by the Chair of the Department of Biology. This position is promotion-eligible but non-tenurable.
Required Qualifications
+ An earned doctorate in biology or a closely related life science field.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
+ Previous teaching experience in the field of anatomy and physiology.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Demonstrated excellence in college or university-level teaching as instructor of record in human anatomy and physiology courses.
+ Proficiency in the use of instructional technology.
+ Experience coordinating multiple laboratory classes and managing teaching assistants.
