Job Description
This role will support the strategy, execution, and optimization of Nordstrom Rack’s marketing investment. Key responsibilities include managing the forecast and planning process while providing strong analytic support to drive value-creating decisions. The ideal candidate is proactive, a creative problem solver, has excellent attention to detail, and is committed to building and refining existing processes. You love working with business partners across various teams to solve complex business problems in a fast-paced environment.
** this role is Hybrid and will require you to be in office 3 days per week in downtown Seattle, WA. We do not offer relocation for this role.
A day in the life…
• Collaborate with cross-functional business and finance partners to create monthly and annual plans, including supporting metrics (e.g. traffic, conversion, customers, investment)
• Develop weekly performance and monthly close storylines (WBR, MBR insights)
• Anticipate future business changes, and proactively develop, socialize, and implement new or revised plans through partnership across the organization
• Perform ad hoc and/or regular analyses that help drive strategic marketing decisions which create the greatest value for the organization
• Support the transition and maintenance of new planning and reporting tools (Anaplan, Tableau)
• Create materials that clearly and effectively communicate insights and recommendations through storytelling tools such as MS Excel, Power Point, and Tableau
You own this if you have…
• 5-7 years of related experience, retail preferred
• BA/BS Degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA or comparable experience preferred
• Proven experience in effectively managing the monthly budget/forecasting process
• Proven experience in using skills for analyzing, modeling and reporting financial performance
• Ability to identify areas of opportunity, collect data, establish facts, assess results, draw valid conclusions and present alternative solutions
• Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and timelines
• Excellent computer skills including Excel, SQL, Tableau, Anaplan, PowerPoint and database systems
• Ability to independently develop processes and deliverables from general direction
• Attention to detail, data integrity and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to facilitate discussions with leaders

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
Washington: $77,969 - $132,000 Annually
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
