    As a valued colleague on our team, you will provide expert advice on, and guide team in, assessing and identifying potential risks that may threaten our reputation, safety, security, and/or financial success. As a part of the first line of defense risk team, you will work with leadership and key roles across the COO modeling area to assess, communicate, and collaborate consistent model management lifecycle governance practices.

     

    *THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE*

    The Enterprise Analytics and Modeling - Risk Management - Lead Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

    * Guide team in preparing analyses and reports used to determine business areas that pose potential risks to the enterprise.

    * Guide team in preparing analyses and reports used to evaluate the impact of proposed risks to the enterprise.

    * Coordinate with Model Risk Management (2nd Line of Defense) to disseminate policy and procedures updates, training, and provide formal interpretation and consultation.

    * Provide review and recommendations representing the 1st line of defense for Model Risk Mgmt Policy & Standard updates.

    * Partner, respond to needs, and ensure ongoing governance support for Model Mgmt Lifecyle Model Owners and Users.

    * Support and provide model governance-related items for Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) exams and meetings as needed

    * Lead team in monitoring information and processes to reduce risk using rigorous analysis.

    * Review effectiveness of documented resolutions and control guidelines.

    *THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM*

    *Minimum Required Experiences*

    * 4 years in Risk Management, Data Science, Model Development, Model Validation (or combination thereof)

    *Desired Experiences *

    * Bachelor degree or equivalent

    * Experience in Banking, Insurance, or Fintech

    * Regulatory or Audit experience

    * Ability to effectively communicate complex risk concepts to cross-functional teams

    * Basic understanding of quantitative/statistical/ML/AI modeling methodologies

Final salaries will generally vary within that range based on factors that include but are not limited to, skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant qualifications.
