    **UW Medical Center Northwest – Clinical Engineering** has an outstanding opportunity for a **BIOMEDICAL ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN LEAD** to join our team.

    WORK SCHEDULE

    + 40 hours per week

    + Day Shift

    + Some driving between sites required **POSITION HIGHLIGHTS** Biomedical Equipment Technician Leads will lead assigned personnel and perform complex work in designing, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, installing, constructing and testing all electronic/mechanical/hydraulic equipment, apparatus, and systems used in a health care facility. **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

    + Train, assign, provide direction, and check the work of Biomedical Equipment Technicians

    + Schedule equipment testing, repair, and preventive maintenance

    + Recommend equipment purchases and standardization to supervisor

    + In conjunction with the supervisor, develop work standards, ensure compliance with quality assurance measures, and departmental policies and procedures

    + Perform the work of a Biomedical Equipment Technician 3 **REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**

    + An Associate's Degree in Electronics, Biomedical Equipment Technology or related fieldAND

    + Five years of experience in the repair and maintenance of medical equipment in the hospital setting,AND
