    PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a **Structural Analysis Engineer** to join our aerospace client’s high-performance team in **Wichita, KS** . In this impactful role, you’ll apply advanced structural engineering techniques to analyze, validate, and support aircraft structures — directly contributing to the development of next-generation propulsion systems.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    + Perform detailed structural analyses to ensure components meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements

    + Analyze loads from Finite Element Models (FEM) and collaborate closely with design engineers

    + Create comprehensive strength check notes and stress documentation packages

    + Conduct static, fatigue, damage tolerance, and vibration analyses using advanced tools and methods

    + Support nacelle (including inlets and thrust reversers) and strut/pylon structures — composite structure experience is a plus

    + Utilize stress tools to evaluate structural performance and compliance

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams during design, manufacturing, and post-delivery phases

     

    What You Bring

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering

    + 5–8 years of experience with a BS, 3–6 years with an MS, or 0–3 years with a PhD

    + Strong background in structural sizing, FEM analysis, and documentation

    + Familiarity with stress tools

    + Proven collaboration with design engineers and understanding of aircraft loads and materials

    + Excellent communication and technical documentation skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience with nacelle (especially composite inlets and thrust reversers) or strut/pylon structures

    + Knowledge of regulatory compliance and certification standards

    **Pay Details:** $70.71 per hour
