Job Summary and Essential Function

Assist the physician and nurse in the Pre-op Medical Evaluation Center with preparation and facilitation of pre-op optimization visit. Supports completion of outpatient testing by performing venipuncture, electrocardiogram (EKG), mid-turbinate swabs, and collecting additional laboratory testing as ordered by the provider.

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements

+ Education: High School Graduate or GED. Ability to read, write and speak English.

+ Experience: 2-3 years’ experience in an outpatient medical or inpatient acute care setting preferred

Required Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations

+ BLS

+ Certified Phlebotomy Technician Preferred
