+ The Engineer Design contractor position for client assists in the planning, design, and development of technical standards for gas distribution infrastructure projects. The right candidate must be a self-starter, excellent communicator, critical thinker and able to make sound decisions.

+ This position is an exciting opportunity for persons who enjoy the challenges of supporting the construction of natural gas facilities.

As our Engineer in the design group, a typical day might include:

+ Working on gas storage or gas fueling station assignments

+ Performing assignments involving the design of components or functionality of pipeline products

+ Involved in the planning and design of mechanical equipment and components involving maintenance of mechanical equipment.

+ Performing system balances to determine the best overall solution to solve system issues or identify system low points and methods to best solve them.

+ Provide oversight and support for construction activities

What candidate will need to qualify for this position:

+ BA/BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil or General)

+ 1-3 years of progressive Engineering experience

+ Or

+ Equivalent academic education and experience

Certifications/Licenses:

**Preferred:** Engineer in Training (E.I.T.)

Skills:

Required:

+ Project Management

+ Ability to communicate with all levels in the organization

+ Computer Assisted Design/Geographic Information System - basic proficiency

+ MS Office - advanced proficiency

+ CAD/GIS - intermediate proficiency.
