Banking Ops Specialist II
The Banking Operations Specialist II job handles the routine day-to-day operations of consumer and commercial banking. This job performs administrative/transactional banking tasks such as assisting with service transactions, supporting multi-channel inbound referrals, verifying daily proofs and processing payments that sometimes require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. Working under moderate supervision, this job supports other banking professionals to ensure that critical tasks are completed on time, and may also be tasked with implementing new ways to streamline processes or improve efficiency within their department.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
+ Answers service and referral calls and responds to customer questions and assists with service transactions.
+ Verifies that daily proofs and reconciliations are compliant with corporate accounting and control policies.
+ Validates accuracy of payments, tickets and online entries.
+ Provides solutions to customer, branch or bank inquiries and escalates issues as necessary.
+ Considers multiple resources and records when investigating customer inquiries.
+ Handles more complex transactions and balances general ledger accounts.
+ Ensures work is properly safeguarded and controlled in accordance with banking policies and procedures.

_The Digital Account Operations Specialist is responsible for the review and decisioning of new client applications and advanced processing of existing client change requests according to regulatory requirements and departmental processes and procedures. Working under moderate to low supervision, this job supports other banking professionals to ensure that critical tasks are completed on time._
+ Reviews and Processes new client applications according to regulatory requirements related to KYC, CIP and OFAC.
+ Validates client information using third party verification tools such as Lexis Nexis and Experian.
+ Handles complex title applications such as Trusts and Estates and title change requests.
+ Performs client outreach utilizing verification tools to obtain required documents prior to client onboarding.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and banking software applications.
+ Strong understanding of banking procedures and compliance regulations
Preferred Qualifications
+ 2+ years of experience in operational account services and customer support within the banking industry.
