Brief Description of Duties:
SUNY Morrisville is seeking an Assistant Athletic Trainer. This position will serve under the direction of the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine and support the Athletic Training needs for SUNY Morrisville's 17 intercollegiate sports.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
This person will help oversee the evaluation and treatment of student-athletes for injuries, rehabilitation protocols, prevention programs, testing, and other athletic training procedures.
Successful candidate will provide comprehensive student athlete healthcare with-in scope of practice as directed by supervising physician and indicated by SUNY Morrisville Sports Medicine Policies and Procedures.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training, or related field
+ Current BOC certification, current NYS licensure, or eligible
+ Current CPR and AED certifications
+ This position will require ability to work evenings/weekends and some off campus travel with athletic teams as necessary
