Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Day Services

Mozaic is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers, Health Aides, CNAs, and Direct Support Professionals to join our team. This role focuses on providing meaningful support during daytime hours in non-residential settings, helping individuals with disabilities develop skills, foster independence, and connect with their communities.

Direct Support Professional Pay Rate: $17.92 - $18.67/hr., based on experience

Direct Support Professional Hours:

Monday - Friday, hours vary with occasional evenings and weekends as needed

Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Duties:

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) and caregiver, you will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain safe, healthy, and fulfilling lives. Your responsibilities will include supporting daily living activities, assisting with transportation, and accompanying individuals to appointments. You will follow care plans, administer medications, and adhere to established guidelines to ensure proper care. Collaboration with families, healthcare professionals, and case managers will be essential to providing comprehensive support. Most importantly, you will offer encouragement, emotional support, and advocacy, helping individuals build confidence and thrive within their community.

Direct Support Professional Qualificatio ns:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position, along with at least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or an associate degree in human services or a related field. Additionally, a valid driver's license is necessary.
