The System Specialist Supervisor is responsible for analyzing, recommending, and implementing enhancements to warehouse systems, fulfillment process flows, and operational efficiency. This role leads the development of direct reports, supports seasonal workforce planning, and serves as the primary point of contact for all system modifications and initiatives across the fulfillment center.
YOUR TASKS Identify and execute system and process improvement opportunities across all fulfillment operations. Support new partner onboarding, including inventory system setup and process integration. Serve as the fulfillment center’s lead for system modifications, including participating in project calls and operations meetings. Lead and develop a cross-trained, high-performing team with a focus on mentorship and advancement. Oversee wave planning operations, ensuring processes are followed and team training is continuously updated. Assign and monitor workload to meet quality, accuracy, safety, and productivity standards. Train management on resolving system-related issues within operations. Evaluate and improve standard operating procedures to ensure optimal performance. Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures. Ensure associates are properly trained and equipped to perform their roles effectively. Support system startups to ensure smooth and successful implementation. Maintain expertise in reporting tools and departmental dashboards (DDAs). Demonstrate strong knowledge of WMS wave planning software (e.g., MH environments, Pyramid, COFE), TMS (Kewill), and sorter control software (FKI). Effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Exhibit strong communication, time management, and leadership skills.
YOUR PROFILE Minimum of 3 years of management or supervisory experience, preferably in a high-volume, multi-partner fulfillment environment. Experience leading multi-shift operations. Proven proficiency with WMS, RF technology, EDI systems, and wave planning tools. Demonstrated success in high-SKU, fast-paced operations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions independently. Experience training and developing both hourly staff and management. Skilled in coaching, performance evaluations, and team motivation. Experience with performance metric development and implementation. Familiarity with SQL is a plus. High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
