HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand market presence. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of business strategies. The Business Development Manager plays a key role in achieving company growth objectives and aligning efforts across departments to capitalize on market opportunities.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
+ Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities to support the company’s strategic goals.
+ Develop and execute business development strategies to meet or exceed revenue and growth targets.
+ Foster and manage relationships with new and existing clients, partners, and stakeholders.
+ Conduct market research and analysis to monitor industry trends and identify emerging opportunities.
+ Prepare and present business proposals, sales pitches, and strategic plans to internal and external stakeholders.
+ Negotiate and finalize agreements, contracts, and partnerships to ensure alignment with company objectives.
+ Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to coordinate efforts and optimize results.
+ Monitor and report on key performance indicators and provide updates to leadership on progress and outcomes.
+ Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and partnerships.
+ Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred) Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or a related field, with a proven track record of achieving growth objectives.
+ Demonstrated experience in a business development or related role, with a history of meeting or exceeding growth objectives.
+ Strong knowledge of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and customer needs within the industry.
+ Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
+ Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business development tools.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
+ Self-driven and results-oriented, with the ability to manage priorities independently while fostering team collaboration.
+ Availability to travel as required to engage with clients and attend industry events.
